THE SLEEPERS: STORY

THE SLEEPERS is a brand new beatmakin’ project hosted by MAKVEL & FUCKERSEM. Their eclectism provide them a large knowledge of all musical genres, starting from Rap, crossing to R&B, till the Electric House! And of course G-Funk, New Style, Electro-Funk and “Old Vintage Soundz”. Grown artistically in the italian breakdance scene, in Milan, they followed different musical paths although born in the same background.
In the 2007, they came across to establish THE SLEEPERS project. In the June 2009 they introduce themselves to the public scene with the first italian music album exclusively dedicated to the Poppin’ Style world, realized featuring the ALL STYLE CREW, a group of italian Pro-Dancers as well as one of the purest soul of the entire italian HH dance movement.( Poppin’, New Style, House Dance, Locking e Breaking).
So the first EP signed “THE SLEEPERS” born with the name “BBOY IS POPPIN!” ; introduced at the dance contest “BATTLE ARENA 2009” and now available in FREE DOWNLOAD.
In the August of 2009 THE SLEEPERS are proud to introduce you the Brand New Italian RnB artist: BIG JO. His First EP is now available for FREE DOWNLOAD right HERE! Enjoy! ;)
“THE SLEEPERS” is also a pro-team of video-makers. Makvel & FuckerSem are now following many other projects all COMING SOON!

THE SLEEPERS è un gruppo musicale di BeatMakers composto da MAKVEL & FUCKERSEM. Artisticamente poliedrici, spaziano tra diversi generi, dal Rap all’ R&B, fino all’Electric House ed a tutto ciò che è musica elettronica! Ed ovviamente G-Funk, New Style, Electro-Funk and “Old Vintage Soundz”. Cresciuti artisticamente all’interno della scena del breaking italiana a Milano, hanno seguito percorsi individuali diversi a livello musicale nonostante siano accomunati dallo stesso background, per poi ritrovarsi improvvisamente nel 2007, anno di fondazione dei THE SLEEPERS.
Nel Giugno 2009 si presentano al pubblico con il primo lavoro dedicato esclusivamente all’universo del Poppin’ Style, album costruito in collaborazione con gli ALL STYLE CREW, gruppo di Dancers professionisti nonché una delle Anime più pure dell’intera scena HH italiana di Poppin’, New Style, House Dance, Locking e Breakin'.
Nasce quindi il primo EP targato THE SLEEPERS chiamato: “BBOY IS POPPIN!” . Presentato al BATTLE ARENA 2009 e disponibile ora in FREE DOWNLOAD.
Nell'Agosto 2009 THE SLEEPERS vi presentano il nuovo artista del panorama RnB Italiano: BIG JO. Il suo primo EP è ora disponibile in FREE DOWNLOAD! Enjoy! ;)
THE SLEEPERS è inoltre produzione di video clip musicali. Makvel & FuckerSem seguono tutt’ora la lavorazione di numerosi altri progetti in prossima uscita.
